Board Vacancies & Annual Meeting

Hello Neighbors,

The members of the Trails HOA Board hope you had a pleasant holiday season! As we look forward to 2024, we are reaching out to invite you to participate in the process of making decisions for our neighborhood by volunteering for a Board vacancy or attending the annual meeting.

The next board meeting will be the annual meeting on Saturday January 20th at 10 am at 17709 West 58th Drive.  Hosts Terry and Martha will be providing some refreshments, and we encourage attendees to bring a side dish to share.

We’d love to see a large turnout for this meeting, as we need neighborhood-wide participation homeowners are needed to accomplish the following:

  • Vote on and approve the 2024 budget 

  • Elect a new round of board members 

  • Determine the time and location of the 2024 board meetings 

We have 3 vacancies for the board where we need volunteers:

  • President & Vice President: The duties of the President and Vice President are outlined in our bylaws. In summary, they manage the board meetings

  • Secretary: The duties of the secretary are outlined in our bylaws. In short, the individual will be set up as the point person to receive emails that are submitted through this website, and they will take notes during meetings and submitting to the webmaster to post online.

While it may not be something you’ve been interested in, we encourage you to consider serving. Our all-volunteer board is the primary force keeping our dues substantially lower than the surrounding neighborhoods. If we are unable to find 3 new volunteers to fill the vacant slots, our board cannot function, per the community bylaws.
