What’s new in the community?

The Covenants Working Group has released an updated Revision 1 Declaration based on homeowner feedback from the September vote. Please review the new draft and submit your feedback by November 9, 2026. The revised document and feedback form can be found on the 2026 Covenants Update page.

Dumpters will be available Oct. 2-6. Please follow the guidelines under “Read More.” NOTE! Do not add items once the trash has reached the top of the dumpster. Contents must be inside the dumpster and flush with the top or Waste Management won't pick up the dumpster.

Bear Alert! Exercise caution; they are most active during dusk and dawn. Put trash in an enclosed space, remove bird feed and feeders from your yard, watch your pets when outside, and do not feed bears! See the attached flyer in “Read More” for detailed information.

HOA Annual Neighborhood Picnic | Sat, Aug. 22, 2025

The Annual Neighborhood Picnic was great! There were around 90 adults and kids in attendance. Thank you to the neighborhood volunteer setup crew, and thank you to all the neighbors who participated in the event! A few pictures have been posted.

Join us at the corner of Windy and West 58th Drive for the annual neighborhood picnic. Food and beverages will be available 5-7 pm.

HOA TO PROVIDE: BBQ pulled pork and chicken, tents, tables, and chairs

NEIGHBORS TO PROVIDE SIDES AND DESSERTS BY 5 PM

  • Side Dishes – If your address ends in an even number

  • Dessert – If your address ends in an odd number.

The Trails is a community of 90+ homes and nearly 25 acres of collectively owned, private open space.

The Trails is part of unincorporated Jefferson County, Colorado and is not part of any local city management. The City of Arvada, Colorado makes up The Trails north boundary along 60th Avenue. The east boundary is Easley Road. The south boundary is Jefferson County Open Space.
