December 13, 2023 Board Meeting Minutes

Roll Call: Matt Marino, Keith Turgeon, Julia Renn, Wendy Otavsky, Ken Manley, John Adams, Terry Hackbart, Dru Dunham

2023 Financials: Ended the year with just under $50K. We saved money because the picnic was canceled and not all the professional fees were spent. 

Motion to keep dues the same (vs. raising) was passed unanimously.

2024 Budget will be addressed in January, but there is a desire to keep at $42K so that we do not spend more than we take in.

2024 Annual Meeting: 1/20/2024 at 10:00 am: Social + annual board meeting at Terry Hackbart’s house (address coming)

2024 Board: CALL FOR NEW MEMBERS

A number of our members are ready to take a break and we’d love to get some fresh faces onto the board. For anyone who is new to the neighborhood, our board is comprised of volunteers who live in The Trails. This has a lot of benefits - keeping overhead (and dues low), ensuring that the issues the board addresses are relevant to those living in the neighborhood, and resulting in relatively flexible covenants compared to other neighborhoods in the area. If you are interested in what’s going on in the neighborhood, have thought about getting involved, or are looking for ways to give back, consider joining us!
