Attendance:

Meeting Recap:
Teasel mitigation & open space mowing
Weeds were sprayed in June for Teasel; may need to have weeds sprayed again as some are starting to grow back
Hemlock is popping up on the property;
If it is on homeowner property they will be responsible for removal; if in open space HOA will look to remediate
Fire mitigation
Ken talked with firefighter; 25 ft barrier from structures is recommended
There is potential liability if the native areas are overgrown
Each property/homeowner may have a differing opinion regarding whether or not they would like 25ft from structures completely cleared.
The board will notify the homeowners of fire mitigation best practices via the website
Open Space Use
Trampoline in open space; board declined request to place trampoline in common area and trampoline was placed on common property anyhow
There were only two other examples of homeowners using common space for private property
Basketball hoop in cul-de-sac; was brought to the board years ago (documentation of approval is not accessible)
Garden behind home with troughs once used is now overgrown
Motion made to notify homeowner
Homeowner will be notified via letter asking to move trampoline onto private property by a deadline
If trampoline remains on common property, the board will have the trampoline removed
Action: Matt to draft the letter and send to the board
Chickens
One homeowner is waiting for the last 2 of the chickens to pass and will be done with them
The other homeowner that has chickens has received a summons
August Barbecue
Keith will start sign-up and coordination with bounce house
Pamela to contact Fairmount Fire Dept about visiting with firetruck
